Why is the increase in the average basket so significant?

Many people complain that they are not profitable. But they never tried to increase their average basket, or didn't have the keys to do so.

The 4 basic reasons not to be overlooked:

  • Earning more money.
  • Pay less in delivery costs by grouping your orders in one package.
  • Compensate financially because advertising costs are becoming more and more expensive.
  • Outbid your competitors.

What if your customers bought more of your products? You would be delighted!

So how do you effectively implement an offer?

Adding a simple price table is not enough

Your customers are looking for efficiency and speed. They will not waste time calculating the price after discount. Therefore, you MUST provide all the information your customers need to make a decision!

This table is the one most often used in e-commerce shops. It is not very user-friendly and provides too much information. This is one of the best ways to lose your customer.

In other words, today you have to do all the work for them. Show them how much they will buy your product, and how much they will save with your offer!

What is the best way to increase your average basket?

If your products are suitable, the best ways to increase your average basket are bundle or upsell applications!

  • Choose an optimised design for your offer.

  • Test 3 offers, with the aim of getting the second one bought: the first one too low, the last one too high, the second one perfect!
  • Test a new offer every week to find the one that best suits your product and your audience
  • Offer 2 products, with the second one at 50% off
  • Offer 3 products, giving away the third, your customers love to have gifts!
